About Us

We are 32 years young - established in July 1979

We have operated and been involved with groups, conferences and incentives from 2 to 1,262 attendees, and from Cairns to Los Angeles, New York, Malta, Paris, London, Singapore, Hong Kong, Japan, etc.

Companies and Associations that we have been involved with (to name a few) are, Mobil Oil, Nissan, Saab, AXA Insurance, and the Royal Australian & New Zealand College of Psychiatrists. Refer to the Conference Associates web pages for more details.

We have been an appointed by IATA (International Air Transport Association) ticketing agent for over 30 years as well as a member of AFTA (Australian Federation of Travel Agents) and the Australian Travel Compensation Fund. We are a fully licensed by the Australian Government and have run client Trust Accounts even before legislation was brought in to make them compulsory.

We are shareholders and members of Travellers Choice with some 200 associated travel members in Australia and previous to that we represented American Express Travel Services for 20 years.

Our Managing Director is Michael F. Margolin, has over 40 years of knowledge and experience in the travel industry, having worked in airlines, tour wholesaling, retail travel, and for the past 30 years in the Incentive and Conference markets.

Our Operations Director is Mary Joannides, who also has a wealth of knowledge and experience in the travel industry (admitting to only over 30 years) having worked with tour wholesalers (including Venture Holidays), retail travel, and in the Incentive and Conference markets. Mary has been working with our company for 31 years.

Our Marketing Director and heading our Vietnam section is Sinh Thai Le, a Vietnamese national, who is proud of her country and very keen to promote Vietnam. Thai has worked in the travel industry for 10 years and specialises in the Indochina region.

In 2003 our wholesale division, Vietnam Associates, was appointed a tour wholesaler for Vietnam Airlines and since then has helped thousands of Australians visit the beautiful country of Vietnam. Our growth in this area has been spectacular and is a testament to the excellent professional staff that we have. To ensure that we have true local knowledge we have on staff a number of Vietnamese nationals who are both knowledgeable and proud of their country. In 2010 we were advised by Vietnam Airlines that we were the largest producers for them of Tour Packages airfares out of Australia - a feat we are proud of.
